BTR International is no exception; our growth has given us the opportunity to expand our team. We are delighted to introduce you to Suzanne Sells.

Suzanne joined our team in November 2013 as our Business Development Executive. Her global role blends her removals experience and people-orientated skills. “I’ve worked in the removals industry since 2005” explains Suzanne. “I’m used to organising domestic and international moves.”

Suzanne’s priority echoes that of BTR: it’s all about the people; the assignees and their families. “I particularly enjoy working with BTR as moves are about personal contact, not just account management. We roll up our sleeves and get involved with all aspects of the relocation.”
“BTR gives me the flexibility to be ‘hands on’ to ensure that assignees and their families have the assistance they need. I am currently helping the family of a VIP assignee who are moving to the UK from overseas. They have never been in the UK before; we can help with the reassurance and guidance they need. Everyone involved – the assignee, client and ourselves – wants the move to be as stress-free as possible.”
Suzanne enjoys the personal contact and freedom she has to offer a tailored service to clients. Every role has its difficult aspects though. Within Suzanne’s role, this involves the negative response to cold calls. “I appreciate that everyone is busy” she explains. “It is very frustrating when someone puts the phone down – mostly because I know that we are offering a service which will be genuinely helpful to them. There isn’t a way around it for that particular call; fortunately it doesn’t happen very often!”
